The materials that I am requesting will help my students get a fresh start in the new school year. It is so nice to be able to read and work in a comfortable spot. The rug will help my students get excited about silent reading time and individual learning work. My classroom is a tile floor, and I want to make an area where the students can leave their desks and relax on a carpet while reading or working. Even playing a partner game with a friend will be cozier on this rug!
The donations to this project will also help give my students pencils, folders, and dry erase boards to start the year. Most of my students come to school with little to no school supplies. These materials will help keep my students organized and prepared for the first months of school. The dry erase boards will be used for the whole group and small group learning. The boards will help with instruction and show me as the teacher a quick assessment of the student's understanding of a topic or problem.
Any donation is greatly appreciated! I know my students will enjoy and benefit from these classroom materials! Thank you!
