Every child follows a developmental path when learning to read. Some children reach their goal earlier than others. Some need a little more guidance along the way. These guided reading selections will offer a variety of topics to invite and encourage every child in my class the opportunity to open the pages of a book and enter a world that stimulates thinking and learning. Every child has an inquisitive mind with the absorptive power of a sponge. Every book that is placed in their hands is an opportunity to answer questions or allow them to travel through time and space as they read through the pages.
