My students are a group of very sweet and hard working students, however they are very active and have a hard time sitting still. The classroom is made up of mostly boys. I would like to be able to have flexible seating alternatives to assist my students in their daily learning. The traditional classroom seats are not conducive for my classroom population of special education students. Therefore, I believe that the flexible seating (bean bags, wobble chairs, balance ball seats) will help them focus and be more comfortable while learning. I have certain students that I can see using the flexible seating on a daily basis and certain students who could use them as a reward.
