As a preschool teacher, I love meeting my students on their level, both physically and academically. There is nothing more fun that getting on the floor and playing a game or building a tower with blocks. Since my students are still young, they need help in understanding personal space and boundaries. A carpet that gives each student their own space will do wonders in learning this special life skill. With a classroom rug, I could give my students a place to meet to talk about our day, learn a new skill and just be silly! Our day starts and ends with a group meeting. In this meeting we take the time to talk about what is happening in our day. We share stories and learn new songs. Currently my kiddos sit on our tiled floor, which as you can imagine can be cold and hard. I would love to give my students a soft place to play, explore and talk with friends.
