These materials (STEM bins) will allow students to engage in cooperative STEM activities. My students have had limited experiences outside of school, so providing these experiences at school is so exciting for them. Students learn to plan, explore, and engineer as a team. They are so proud of their accomplishments. We are also learning how to retell stories, and my students have loved learning classic fairy tales. For them, sitting and listening to a story is magical, and I would like to enhance this experience by having puppets available that students can use to retell and act out the stories. This is again a wonderful experience for them and a great way to practice listening and speaking!
