With this new school year comes new challenges. While we are still figuring out how everything will play out, I don't want to waste any time preparing for this unique year. This year in particular we will be finding new ways to work together while being apart. The last several years I have been building up collaborative and flexible work spaces. While the seating options for my students will still work, the supply options will not. In the past, students have shared community supplies. For health and safety reasons, I need to come up with new storage options for this school year. Fortunately, this donation will continue to be useful even when we are able to return to some semblance of normalcy in teaching and learning. With the donation of three vertical storage organizers and 30 storage bins, students will be able to keep their learning materials organized, and I will be able to spread them out to minimize close interactions. This will be the most effective way to ensure each student has the tools they need to make learning successful during these unprecedented times as they work together while staying apart.
