Right now, I have desks in my room that are tiny and when my students have their Chromebooks on their desks, there is no room for anything else (folders, books, etc.). Having a writing center would give them an area where they have more space and can take turns brainstorming and writing their papers. My students definitely need this in order to give them a better space for writing! They will be able to spread out more and actually get their thoughts down quickly without having to search for information all over the place like they continually have to do when they are in the desks.
