Our 3rd Grade Mathematicians and Scientists need an easel! We want to create projects such as anchor charts and use the dry erase board in our small groups. Anchor charts and small groups are a large part of my teaching approach. When students need extra help, I can teach a smaller group at a table using an easel. I can demonstrate and model, and students can also engage by answering questions on the easel. It allows me to gather feedback and check for understanding. We can also use the easel to display anchor charts the class and I did together. They use these charts to refer back to when they have a question about a process.
