We are requesting clipboards and beanbag seating for a more engaging learning environment. Using flex seating in the classroom allows my students to feel more comfortable and allows them to be more available for learning. My students are more engaged in their work and reading when they are given a choice as to where they would like to work and how they would like to sit and work. It can be difficult to sit all day in a hard chair, so why not have options for the students who find it difficult to sit in a hard chair? We all have a special chair or special place we like to read or work in, so why not have that option in the classroom too? Allowing students to choose from beanbag chair or clipboard in the classroom would help them to be more attentive and focused on their learning. The products I have chosen will help those students who need to get the wiggles out or for just a comfy place when doing work on the floor. Not everyone learns the same way, but it would be beneficial if we had a choice to be able to pick the chair we could do our best learning in!
