All of our students learn in different and unique ways. Using games in the classroom allows students to take advantage of their unique talents to learn. My students work in small groups for instruction. It is a challenge to find out of the box gaming ideas to pull students into their learning, that are also hands-on; especially in math. I have noticed that they learn best when they don't even realize they are learning. My students are noticeably more engaged in their lesson when there is a physical and fun game involved. The product that I selected will give students the hands-on activity they need, while also reinforcing the skills they are learning in a game form. The Qball will be extremely beneficial for students who are also kinesthetic and auditory learners. I have seen the positive effects of choosing unique ways of engaging my students in their learning through technology and games.
