This year I have a class that is literally Crazy about the Rubix Cubes. I have two in the classroom which now have to be checked out daily due to the abundance of students interested in working on solving the puzzle. Problem solving is a process and my students need more time to complete the process. The availability of more than the two I have will enable them to be more successful. I will use them in a Math rotation throughout the week when these cubes are available to them. Sharing strategies with a partner is a great way to build on the collaboration skills we are instilling in our students.
