The library's 12 iPads were purchased in 2011. While we are lucky to have them, they no longer support the apps that are in greatest need to students and teachers. Computer Programming has been a big focus in the library, and robotics such as Dash and Spheros have been added to give students hands-on opportunities with robotics and coding. However, the apps needed to run them are not supporting on our old iPads. The library is requesting an additional iPad to be purchased that can suppport future-ready technology needs for coding and computer programming. The iPad will be used with all K-5th grade classes during library time, with 4th-5th grade students during an afterschool tech club, and will be available for check out by teachers and staff.
