Our student body and sports teams currently have 0 exercise equipment and we need to change this! We are the only school in our county that does not have a cardio exercise room. When it comes to rehabbing an injured athlete they are forced to either simply sit out or try to afford our local gym in order to re-hab their injury. This should not be the case in 2020! As great as it is to take students and athletes outside there are days that we just can't do that. Whether due to the rain, snow or freezing temperatures, running inside is not always the best answer due to the floors causing shin splints and actually decreasing the times that kids can be active.
