We are half way through a school year of virtual learning. My students have been working from home for a full year now. They are struggling to continue to stay positive and keep working. I am constantly looking for ways to interest and excite my students and put smiles on their faces. I plan to surprise my students with goody bags full of treats and books to put smiles on their faces. These will be a great pick-me-up for these children. Most of my students come from poor homes and many do not have books at home. They do not have access to our classroom library since we are teaching virtually. I know they will be thrilled to get a goody bag of books and treats.
