This calming room with shelves, lamps, and a partition will allow my students to relax, which is crucial in their learning process. At times, some students can be overstimulated and refuse to do classwork. Each of my students has unique learning styles which are achieved through tactile and sensory items. A calming environment, allows the students to enhance their ability and desire to learn. The key to a sensory-informed classroom is that it supports the various sensory needs of my students in the classroom in a way that is as natural as possible.

About my class
