The atomic models allow my students to visualize the atoms in three dimensions, making learning more meaningful. Atomic models make Chemistry which is abstract more concrete. Currently I pass a single model that I have created round the class; with more sets students will be able to create their own models and learn at their own pace according to their needs. I teach using atomic models to demonstrate atomic structure diagrams for counting atoms in molecules, drawing atomic structure diagrams, chemical bonding, and naming both ionic and Covalent compounds. I plan to use the models for both teaching and assessment purposes.
