In special education students need unique support and different learning styles and approaches. As the Functional living skills teacher, it is my duty to ensure that our scholars learn skills that can gain them little to no support for life after high school. From teaching students to count utilizing the mathematical tools ,showing them how to cook with kitchen appliances and using resources to help provide self motivated & productive behaviors through stability balls and therapeutic supports. Our students need many different types of supports to gain a real-world perspective and preparation! Through these supports our students will be able to gain a jump-start to preparing them for a self-sustaining life after they graduate.

About my class
