My students are in need of materials for Guided Reading small groups, specifically when working independently once finished working at my small group table, as well as reading to me one-on-one while I am completing running records. Some examples of the materials needed include letter tiles and leveled readers. My students need more exposure to "just right" books as opposed to just whatever we have available from the library book tub or classroom library. I am so excited about expanding my classroom small group materials as well as my classroom library. It is so essential at this early age of development to have as much exposure to different forms of literacy as possible.
