These Chromebooks will give the ability to write, research and develop ideas for the all areas of the reading and writing process. As any new year starts off, you find yourself as a teacher, with opportunity to inspire and promote new and motivating ideas to a new set of eager minds. However, you have a few that push back and are "there because they have to be." Or, you have the educationally hungry ones that need an extra opportunity or chance. These students are the ones that need to be motivated and personally inspired more than the others. The Broken homes. The Homeless ones. The physically, mentally, verbally or sexually abused... These are the ones we find that benefit more from technology and the vastness of its product. The population of my 9th and 10th grade English classrooms consists of so many distinguishing types of hungry minds. Each and everyone of them are special in their own way. I enjoy one on one time or the motivating classroom discussions. Chromebooks would be a vital and integral way to inspire these students towards research, reading and writing that is limited otherwise.
