Getting quality books into the hands of my students is a passion. Regardless of what language they speak, they should have access to high-quality books. However, this isn't always the case. The intent of this project is to get bilingual books into the hands of my Spanish speaking students in order for them to begin to make connections from Spanish, the language that is primarily spoken at home, to English. By having more access to books with both Spanish and English print or having 2 books, one in Spanish and one in English, students will begin to see similarities in words, similarities and differences in language patterns, and so much more.
