These materials will be used in my classroom to help my preschool students work and develop fine motor coordination. They will be able to have a variety of hands on activities to choose from and engage in learning while having fun. According to research preschoolers learn more effectively when using age and developmentally appropriate materials. Having access to interactive, fun and age appropriate manipulatives is key for the success of my students. They will be able to work at their own pace to refine their fine motor skills and eventually have the strength to be able to begin the writing process.
