They enjoy reading fiction books, especially in a series learning about a character's personality traits and feelings over the course of may books, like in High Rise Private Eyes or the historical fiction series, The Golly Sisters Go West. From the deep ocean to the farthest galaxies. From innovative inventions to amazing architectural feats. The inspirations and discoveries are endless! Information books are especially engaging and valuable at this age. My students have a natural thirst and curiosity about the world around them. I want to foster their belief that the world is an amazing place!
