I have a diverse group of students who learn in diverse ways. I have two separate groups of students, both of which prefer to move around the room. However, my small classroom and bare floor do not allow for a safe space for them to do so. I hope that with this project I can accommodate the different needs of my students in a safe and comfortable way. Many of my students prefer to stand or sit on the floor while they work. Others tend to focus better when they are on their own or are in a room free from noise. With these materials, they can lay or sit on the cushions and pillows, wear headphones to block out noise, or place a privacy screen to block out distractions.
