My kiddos love solving problems and figuring things out. They are still forming strategies and skills in order to be successful in STEM. I want to provide activities that would keep my students engaged, while practicing these critical skills. STEM bins would allow my students to get hands on, work collaboratively, and practice very important STEM skills. In these bins are play-doh, building blocks, magnetic tiles, magic writing boards, and many more things where students are hands on problem solvers and builders. Yoga balls allow for flexible seating for my students to get wiggles out, while staying focused. They are asked to sit for long periods of time at school so I believe they need flexible options. All of these materials would help my kids learn, while also having fun. I want my students to love school and these materials would help foster that love.
