Many of my students don't have the necessary supplies to be successful in our hands-on, conceptual math class. They often need to stop their work to ask for supplies. My goal for this project is to supply the tools they need in an easily accessible way by creating math supply centers for each table group. This will also be where they turn in work so that there is as little distraction as possible. We can use more of our time working through math and spend less time searching for supplies or retrieving papers. Instead, students will have everything they need to explore the current lesson ready and waiting for them at the beginning of class. When we are using additional manipulatives, they will also be readily available for students to begin work right away.
