My students come from broken homes and live in a low-income community. It is my hope to bring consistency and a desire for self-improvement in their lives. My hope is to use this new classroom rug to gather at the start of each day. This rug has enough space where I will be able to spread my students out if behavior problems arrive as well. I would also be utilizing this rug to start each lesson throughout the school day. I can see myself using the whiteboard markers and erasers to assess and monitor student's learning throughout the school year. Currently, I do not have enough markers to give my students. They have to share, and we are wasting tissues and paper towels, as we are using them as erasers throughout the school day. I am appreciative of any donation.
