I teach in a school where we teach our students to be problem-solvers and leaders in our community. We follow the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Kids to give every child the opportunity to be successful as they become adults. My students love to learn. I love to watch them create and discover and problem solve. They deserve the opportunity to be creative and use their imaginations. And this cannot happen with just the materials we have in our classroom. With your help, I could give my students an opportunity to construct an earthquake-safe structure, design a robotic hand that can pick up a ball…and engineer a filter that purifies water! Our kit was specially developed to help children think like real scientists and engineers as they explore the STEM design process and solve problems—students plan, build and test their designs, then improve them until they are successful.
