My physical education class is divided into units. A popular unit in my class is our Badminton unit. My badminton nets are used with all of my students. My students choose their partner and have a day to practice. After the practice day the Badminton tournament begins! Students are motivated to play all week. Having a badminton net that is easy to set up and take down would enhance my unit. Currently my badminton nets are placed into round bases that are filled with sand. The bases are very heavy and very challenging to set up. A few of the nets are well loved having a few holes! My badminton nets are used throughout the school year. Not only for our badminton unit but also used during my backyard games unit. Students are always excited to see badminton make an appearance later in the year for backyard games. The nets are also used during our end of the year field day games.
