The electricity kits provide important materials such as wires, switches, bulbs, resistors, capacitors, and other parts needed for real world application models. Also included are some great study materials like flash cards and other vocabulary manipulatives. My students thrive from hands on activities. It allows them to apply what they have learned and give them the confidence to build their own circuit! Having more than one electrical kit allows them to be in smaller groups, and have more time so each student can have a chance at building one. It also allows time for more discussion and interaction in the classroom.
