This project will benefit the students in a variety of ways. In conjunction with our Audio/Visual department, students will utilize the iPad Pro to film games, practice, and individual drills. Using the iPad for filming both games and practice will benefit the students in the fact that they will learn how to splice video, breakdown video, upload video to a editing platform, and edit the video using that platform. In addition to filming and editing the video, the students will splice the video to create highlight tapes for themselves using the video from the iPad. This project will also benefit students in the fact that they will use the iPad to breakdown statistics, trends, find percentages, and input these numbers into a data spreadsheet platform that will be continuously used throughout the year. The workforce and higher education requires students to be proficient in Microsoft products such as word, excel, and powerpoint. The students will use the iPad to breakdown data and find trends to make necessary adjustments and to improve the overall play of their game. They will also use mathematics to find percentages and use these percentages to create graphs and trends of where they are the most successful on the court.
