My students are wiling and eager to learn. However, they lack many skills that they need in order to be proficient with many of the state standards. I'm looking for ways to help them address and overcome their weaknesses through different strategies. Modeling examples is a very important step towards helping them, but it's extremely difficult without the support of technology, like the ELMO smart document camera. With the ELMO smart document camera, I can get instant feedback whether they understand the materials or not. I will also be able to project their textbook and model fluent and accurate reading step-by-step.
