Having an iPad in our classroom with help tremendously prepare our children for not only kindergarten but also the future. Our world is getting more technology daily. We are steering away from the mouse and keyboard and more towards touch screen displays. Our Pre-K children find it much easier and less frustrating to work a tablet then a standard PC computer. Also this will allow us to give 2 of our Pre Kindergarten assessments each year as well as use programs such as starfall during our technology center. Having an iPad in our classroom will have several benefits for our Pre-K Students.
