Scholastic Storyworks magazines are an incredible resource for my students. StoryWorks Magazines have both fiction and non-fiction articles and stories that my students can relate to, and are interested in. These magazines connect different content areas while also focusing on different reading skills. When students are able to make connections across content, they are more likely to grasp the concept. In my classroom, students will reference and use their StoryWorks magazines all throughout the day. Students will use them during reading workshop and science/social studies time. I can't wait for my students to have these to use in their day to day routine!
