I have learned that one way to excite children to learn and keep them engaged is to give them voice and choice. I have found that when they see themselves in charge of their learning, there is buy-in, and they'll invest their time and effort. At our school, we incorporate Project Based Learning into our daily instruction. PBL incorporates hands-on, authentic learning experiences that provide the rich language exposure to benefit the ELL student and easily allows for differentiation for both struggling and gifted students. I genuinely believe that all students are capable of learning and achieving success if provided with the necessary tools to meet them where they are and bridge any existing gaps. Your donation will support my students and ensure that they have what it takes to achieve success.
