We are requesting seven GeoSafari Butterly Bungalows. Many of my students love hands on activities, and visuals. They will learn and understand metamorphosis of butterflies through watching them transform in front of their eyes. They will document their findings through drawings, data taking, and writing what they see everyday. This project really incorporates collaborating with a classmate, comparing and contrasting their findings with others throughout the classroom. Many students need to see the transformation of the butterfly through all its stages to believe it in my classroom, making this an incredible hands on science experiment. The joy of watching their caterpillar grow into a beautiful butterfly will make the butterfly release be more special to my students.
