The AVID seniors at my school are mostly first generation college students. They don't have much to reference what will happen in college. The book, The Naked Roommate: And 107 Other Issues You Might Run Into in College by Harlan Cohen will help students prepare for the unexpected things that they may come across in college. Students will read this in book club groups and discuss what they learn. Please consider helping these students get ready as they set out to be the positive change they want to see in the world. I want to see these kids have all the background and knowledge that they need to succeed.
