I have a few readers and some that are very close to reading inside of my class, my students will use the literacy manipulatives to help build up their reading and writing skills. Touch & read phonics match, creating sight word sentence, What’s the Rhyme? Sorting houses, rhyming bingo, story sequencing cards and picture bingo will be perfect for our center time, where my co-teacher and I are leading small groups. Our students will be able to work independently, strengthen their social skills. I believe with the help of these literacy manipulatives, I will be able to help my students reach the kindergarten level by the end of the school year. Most importantly not only would I, but my students will wholeheartedly appreciate these new learning tools.
