Students have a challenging time sitting still and doing boring, repetitive work. My goal is to make each student love coming to school each day. I would like to facilitate learning by doing two things: providing flexible seating options for more comfort and versatility to meet the needs of different types of learners, and provide engaging learning resources that will make the classroom time fun and exciting. I have asked for stools, wobble seats, and other seating options for those students who have a difficult sitting at a table and being still. Studies have shown that these items improve learning outcomes. Additionally, I have asked for engaging learning games for students to use in stations and for them to use during the all too frequent days when the weather is too hot, rainy, or cold.
