Headphones are a necessity in my classroom. Students need them daily for educational apps on their i-Pads. One of the apps that students use is called Dreambox. This is a math program used for students that differentiates their learning and assesses them according to their ability. This program is engaging to students and has built in games and videos in lessons that have audio. Another app that students use weekly is Spelling City. This app allows them to practice their spelling words with games. A class set of headphones would be very beneficial to my students so that each student gets the best learning experience possible. Even though headphones are a necessity in my classroom and they are on the supply list, only a few of my students actually have them and are able to use them. For this project I am asking for 28 pairs of headphones to be funded for my students and future students. Having a class set will allow so much more learning opportunities with my students.
