The transition into the Next Generation Science Standards is still a work in progress in our district and it has yet to implement adopt textbooks that align with these new standards. Our middle school shares laptops/ipads and all students cannot have access to them at the same time. A class set of "Everything You Need to Ace Science In One Big Fat Notebook" provide the needed content in a way that is consistent, fun and easy to understand that would always be available to my students. With lined and colorful pages it will also be an excellent example of a great note-taking methods. Many of my students have expressed their dislike for reading in general and their particular dislike for reading texts. These books would be of great use, supplemented with hand-on activities and group projects.
