My kids need some math manipulatives and thermometers. These resources will help my students better understand these concepts. Fractions are a difficult and often challenging to grasp, by having tools I will be able to help those students who learn best by visual. My kids learn best by doing. This will allow me tools to help them learn the concepts with hands on tools. Having thermometers will not only help my students complete a heat lab it will also teach them skills on to read thermometers. We are learning about heat transfers so I need some thermometers to help them see the change. I also picked some magnetic fractions to help my kids see the connection between fractions and percents. These will help my students understand how heat can be transferred and how fractions compare to percents
