These books will enable my students to be active participants in our new Reader's Workshop classroom. This program will be initiated next school year and in order for it to be a success my students will need high interest reading materials. The special needs students will excel in this program with the lower readability level books that are available. The program requires the teachers to provide their own resources. As a Special Education teacher, a large part of my choices are based on my students needs. I have chosen specific titles that will encourage my students to love reading and want to read, read, read!
