The donation of Chromebooks will help improve my students' technology skills. Students will be given the opportunity to do research, reading, and math activities on the Chromebooks. Our classroom technology is very limited. From the minute they walk through the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth. By doing this in a creative and positive way with technology, I am hopeful to motivate and inspire even our earliest learners to continue a path of academic excellence and continued learning through technology. The opportunity and achievement gaps are apparent among our student population. These students are our future and should be prepared with access to technology in order to succeed in our 21st Century world.
