My math and science students rarely get the opportunity to take field trips or have the exposure to stem related activities due to low funding at our school. This technology will give me the opportunity to expose them to the beauty of STEM. I also want to expand their knowledge of the world around them. Many of my students have not traveled outside of Washington, DC. Many of my students are black and latinx, so I want them to see the beauty of the world around them through the scope of stem. I also want them to enjoy learning, and this technology could bring some excitement to our daily lessons.
