The use of iPads will encourage learning in a way that students find fun and familiar. iPads also offer endless ways to promote learning. There are online educational games for every subject and ability level. Websites are available for reading digital books. Our classroom library does not have enough books to provide for the diverse reading levels and reach the varying interests of the children. iPads can also read aloud for struggling readers. In addition, many apps are available to enhance the learning of students with learning disabilities. iPads put the world at a child's finger tips. The ease of use is perfect for young children. They can research any topic and see photographs of places and things these low income children may not otherwise get the opportunity to view in person. Please consider providing iPads to increase the learning of children in multiple ways. THANK YOU!
