The flexible seating options I have selected will help all students within my two homerooms. The lap desks will provide students with the opportunity to select areas around the classroom to complete work. The format of these desks has proven to be helpful in classrooms around me, and I know they will allow the students to produce neat and legible work. The Bouncy Bands will help the students in my room who have ADHD diagnosis, but also students who are kinesthetic learners. That ability to move and wiggle without disrupting peers will help students succeed. The Patricia Polacco books will support an author study my grade level uses every year in our reading and writing workshops. Patricia's ability to reflect on her life is a wonderful model for our personal narrative.
