I started using flexible seating last year and found success with it. Students seemed to be motivated, well behaved, and on task. My students are able to choose a comfortable spot to complete their learning. This can include the floor, special chairs, tables, and lap desks. The items I requested will vastly add to my students' flexible seating options. The wobble chairs and cushions will allow students to focus on their task while still be able to move and get their wiggles out. The laptop floor seat will be great for students using their Chromebooks. With these new flexible seating options and hands on math stations my students will be more engaged with their learning. For math stations, I requested Magnet Building Tiles for my students to use their imaginations at a building station. I also requested Hot Dots and LCD doodle tablets for my students practice math facts while still using hands on technology. This project will make a WORLD of difference in the success of my students.
