Our students can not afford calculators on their own, so we have sets in the classroom for them to use. The calculators we currently have are over 10 years old and have broken screens, buttons, and covers. Most teachers do not have a full set so students are forced to share calculators which hinders their ability to learn. New calculators will help us do our jobs more effectively and help deepen our students’ understanding of the algebra concepts they are learning. Your donation will impact our entire math department and all 1400 students that we teach because we will be able to use them in every class and provide every student access to the technology they need.
