The materials will help to have leveled books in the classroom. Students will have more books they are exposed to and more opportunities to read. Currently in the classrooms we have books but, we lack books that are leveled. I notice students will read books by looking at the pictures, but they prefer to read books they are able to read, ones that are not too hard or not too easy. I noticed this once students would come up to me during centers and ask can they grab their guided reading books to read at the read to self center. Now they have extra practice to reread a book they will read again the next day when we meet for small group.
