We are in a rural part of northeast Arkansas in a school with very limited science funding. Our 250+ 6th grade students are intelligent, hard-working young people who love to discover new things. Using and learning about new technology in the classroom is one of their favorite ways to learn. They get very excited every time I bring out science equipment. They are excited to work in groups and/or with partner to discover new things. They work well in groups and learn well in groups. This equipment is great way to help them work in lab groups and teach each other what they are discovering. They love to share what they know with each other. One of my goals is to make school a place they want to be, and with the help of DonorsChoose and my awesome funders I have totally succeeded.
